An Action is something that is performed inside a trigger when an event occurs. MultiplayerWhen playing maps with multiple players, either over LAN or Battle.Net, there are some actions that work differently. Some actions may cause the game to desync, which causes players to be disconnected from the game. Basic Actions
DialogsThe game is not paused when you show a dialog to a player, unlike in the single player. This has little or no effect, and is usually what you want in a multiplayer map. However, when using the Test Map feature in the World Editor it may be misleading or cause your timed events to occur in the wrong order. If you use a dialog, consider testing your map in LAN. |
